Like many people, I've fantasized this situation several times, always winding up thinking it just wouldn't work. So, I quit buying tickets. Your post has given me a new idea ... I'd give the ticket to my favorite charity ... Shelter Box ... and have them buy me a relatively small life annuity. I think you'll be fine as long as you stay true to yourself. Giving to those you always wanted to help will help keep you centered on your life. I think those who get into the most trouble lose themselves in the moment and become overwhelmed in all the things they "THINK" they "HAVE" to do. Relax, be yourself, hire the right people to take care of the noise and you'll be just fine.
BTW, my fee for that advice is $1.5 million due in 10 days.
